We thought we would give you guys a taste of what’s happening. We are currently hard at work on the music video for “Skinny Fingers”. The video is being created using stop motion methods. Its very time consuming, but we are confident that it will pay off. Here are some screen grabs from the video. We will have it done very soon. Thank you.

Brand New Recipe for Ice Cream Bones:
1. Find a good restaurant that has wings on special.
a. Recommended: Monday nights at Wild Goose Bar and Grill (4265 N Lincoln Ave Chicago, IL 60618)
b. The wings should be cheap, but not skimpy. You want some meat on those things. Don’t pay more than twenty-five cents per wing. Ten cents per wing (The special on Mondays at Wild Goose Bar and Grill) is a great deal.
c. Don’t order boneless wings, for obvious reasons.
2. Eat your wings. Don’t eat your fill, but come close. Save room for dessert.
a. Get them as spicy as you care to handle because ice cream is coming next.
3. Don’t let them take your bones after you have eaten the meat off of them. Read the rest of this entry »

April 7th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments »For the last year, we’ve been writing songs based around drums or percussion, more generally (including walls and wood and pipes and bikes and other things as well as traditional drums). While none of the three of us are drummers, and we sometimes have difficulty trying to play, as a three piece, a beat that many drummers would be able to handle on his or her own, we have also been able to come up with some beats that are unconventional and interesting, because of the very fact that we aren’t drummers.
Many times, though, we find ourselves in a bit of trouble when employing this method. We, more than one time, have found ourselves with a beat that sounds great. It may be interesting, hard hitting, catchy, awesome, etc., but it isn’t something that we are able to write the rest of a song around, at least the rest of a song that would fit with the other songs on the record that we are currently trying to complete.
This is why we wish that we knew Mos Def (Yes, we are white and we like him and we are aware that it is predictable and cliché for white people to like him- #69 on Stuff White People Like (http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/02/17/69-mos-def/). We also love more hip-hop artists than Mos Def, but it’s not necessary to list them all, so we won’t.). If we did know him, we could give one or all of the beats to him. We think he would love any one of them. This may be dellusion, or it may be our true calling.
Either way, if you know Mos Def or anyone else awesome, who is looking for three producers for a hip-hop album, let us know.
