The Jungle vs. The Basement

We have been tracking heavily for “Confetti” this week. This requires quite a few breaks. Beer used to flow from The Basement, but that has since been closed. So now, we find our quenched thirst down at The Jungle. Here are some photos of The Jungle. Recording is going great because of the jungle…

Mornings, Mini Beers and Maple Syrup

We’ve been writing and recording in the mornings this week and it has allowed us to make pretty good process on Song 58. We’re trying some things. Some of those things have been working out well. We’re happy with the progress.

The best parts are that the building has been empty while we have been there (perfect (quiet) for recording), and there have been funny, little men out in front of the building drinking either mini bottles of beer or small bottles of maple syrup.

Big Weekend; Shows, Surprises.

We are excited to be back on that big, clean stage at Bottom Lounge on Friday evening. Its a really fun place and everything always sounds great when we play there and the pulled pork sandwiches and Belgian frites are wonderful, so we’re pumped.

Then, on Saturday night, if you haven’t had enough or if you’re in the mood for something a little different, we’re playing the inaugural show at Amp Lounge on Lincoln Avenue, in Lincoln Park. The stage and room are a bit small, so we will be making some adjustments. We’ll be playing two sets on Saturday night, the first from 11-11:30pm and the second from 12-12:30am. The two sets will definitely be different and there might just be a few surprises along the way.
